Description: Requisition #: CRPS17113 Division: Corporate Staff Job Title: Manager - Learning Evaluation & Business Impact Country: United States State: New Jersey City: Roseland Location : Roseland-1 ADP Blvd Employment Status: Full Time - Permanent Job Responsibilities: (Description) Partners with Relationship Managers within ADP University to establish effective learning and impact assessment processes and methodologies for the learning solutions they deliver. This individual will be play a key role on the design team for key ADP wide associate and management development learning solutions by focusing on the impact of the programs and creating overall measures of learning effectiveness. This role helps project teams strategize, design, develop and execute evaluation and assessment plans for specific learning solutions. Directs the analysis, preparation and presentation of data gleaned from surveys/assessments/evaluations, summarizing and presenting learner feedback, and demonstrating the effectiveness, business results and Return on Investment for courses, programs, initiatives and curricula. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Consults with stakeholders--including ADPU Learning Relationship Managers, Instructional Designers, initiative sponsors, business HRBPs, etc--on the strategic use of, design, and development of assessments and evaluations across ADPU programs/initiatives. 2. At a project/initiative level, serves as assessment team lead for multiple teams on projects of moderate/high levels of complexity and strategic importance to ADP. 3. Establishes standard practices of evaluation and assessment for ADPU. Collaborates with other Learning and Development Professionals within ADP to ensure a consistent evaluation and assessment approach. 4. Consults with design and content development teams to combine learning design and assessment to achieve valid, reliable, and measurable results. 5. Helps to educate/develop/coach ADPU resources re: testing and assessment including strategic uses of diagnostics, testing and evaluation, item creation/validation, formative and summative uses of data, etc. 6. Serves as an internal thought leader in the area of learning evaluation and competency assessment and establishes ADPs "distinctiveness" in this area of learning and development. 7. Advanced-level user of relevant tools, including testing and survey platforms, item banks, statistical analysis, and data presentation tools. 8. Maintains familiarity with best-in-class tools available in the market and makes recommendations around advancing ADPs assessment/evaluation toolbox. 9. Directs the gathering and analysis of Level 1 evaluation (reaction) data from ADPU courses and presents key findings/trends to key stakeholders. 10. Works with project teams to design/develop valid and reliable Level 2 evaluation (learning) assessments for both classroom and blended learning solutions. 11. Designs and oversees the execution of Level 3 evaluation (transfer) studies for key initiatives, in collaboration with HR and business stakeholders. 12. Designs and oversees the execution of Level 4 (results) and Level 5 (ROI) evaluations for select initiatives. 13. Supervises the collection, interpretation, documentation, and summary of quantitative, longitudinal, and multivariate data in support of teaching and learning; helps to establish procedures for gathering data through observation, interviews, surveys, and other sources; coordinating the administration of surveys through various media as well as the web, email, and telephone. 14. Presents reports and analyses to various levels of management setting forth strengths/weaknesses of various projects and programs, as well as on other relevant assessment related topics, issues, and emerging trends. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: 1A) Supervisor: Director, Learning Solutions Design and Development B) Supervision Received: General 2) Supervisory Authority: None SPECIAL ACCOUNTABILITY: In order to determine the true business impact of ADP Universitys learning solutions, it is imperative to have someone capable of providing the expertise required in this role. Without this type of assessment being completed, we cannot effectively determine the value that ADPU brings to the company. QualificationsRequired (Experience, Skills, Academic): 1. Education: Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred 2. Experience: Significant (8+ years) experience assessing learning (designing and writing assessment items, linking with the instructional design function, analyzing results) in either business or academic environments. Broad business acumen, strong written and oral communication skills, advanced knowledge of statistical analysis using SPSS, MS Excel, and Access, and other relevant tools. Deep understanding of the assessment of learning in the context of performance, psychometrics, statistics, instrument, and item design, adaptive learning theory/practice. Demonstrated proficiency with evaluation/assessment design, item response theory, criterion reference testing, test validation, assessment development and administration, and survey research design and administration. Significant experience conducting both formative and summative assessments. Demonstrated success implementing higher-level evaluation of learning (Kirkpatrick L2-4; Phillips L5). 3.
