Develop programs in accordance with the GlobalView product roadmap. ? Assist the Product Manager with the analysis of business requirements so as to produce Functional and Technical specification. ? Where Functional Specifications already exist, create technical specifications of programs/ interfaces based on functional specifications provided. ? Investigate the use and suitability of alternative and/or new programming tools or software packages so as to support the evolving Product strategy of GlobalView. ? Ensure that Quality Control processes are defined, followed and effective throughout the GlobalView programming team. ? Thoroughly document any programs/ interfaces including system documentation (code comments) and online help documentation. ? Establish project deliverable timeframes together with Product Manager and deliver accordingly. ? Debug (or provide assistance with) through complex programs to identify errors/ determine reasons for identified problems. ? Design and creation of interfaces to 3rd party systems such as HR, Finance, SEM, BW systems, using technology such as IDOCs, ALE, BAPIs and XML. ? Assist in developing upgrade strategy and methodology with regards to Programs, Interfaces and Reports. ? Maintain up to date knowledge of the SAP Products, of SAP related news and developments and any developments to the product and its competitors. ? Maintain up to date knowledge of the GlobalView product template and ensure that all template guidelines are adhered to. ? Escalate product issues, task slippage or risks to the Product Manager. ? Demonstrate proactive participation in Team forums, contribute and participate in knowledge sharing and team development. ? Seek to act as a mentor and actively support fellow team members in an effort to develop their respective skills. Skills required: ? Professional manner and presentation; the ability to professionally set, manage and satisfy management expectations through personal involvement or delegation. ? Ability to understand and work with different cultures professionally. ? Demonstrate knowledge of programming methodologies. ? Ability to prioritise tasks and time management skills, ability to work across various projects ? Teamwork, work collaboratively with others to achieve group goals, working together to accomplish business results ? Ability to understand business requirements and mapping to ensure consistency to ADP template, while minimizing risk to both client and ADP. ? Knowledge of SAP basis and system architecture, for example, authorisations, transports, databases etc. ?
