The successful candidate will participate in projects aimed at identifying and characterizing novel therapeutic agents for treatment of inflammation, pain and/or urinary incontinence. In particular, studies will focus on the development and utilization of methodologies to quantify indices of analgesia and bladder function. Candidate will work predominantly with rodents, and will be required to perform animal handling, acute and chronic dosing, bleeding and measurements of physiological parameters.

Qualifications Required-BS/MS or equivalent in biology, physiology, pharmacology or related discipline with a minimum of 2 years relevant laboratory experience which must include hands-on expertise working with laboratory animals. A background in aspects of mammalian physiology and pharmacology is recommended, and a working knowledge of neuron-pharmacology will be of particular benefit. The ability to work independently and to interact with others in a group setting is essential. Education Requirements: BS/MS or equivalent in biology, physiology, pharmacology.
