Rowe Prices Investor Centers are located in 14 cities throughout the United States. Our centers offer investors the opportunity to meet face-to-face with an experienced Investment Consultant to discuss retirement investment options, college planning, & rollover guidance. In addition, clients can open a new account, discuss investments, conduct investment research, &/or engage in an advisory service. PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Investor Center Specialist is responsible for providing face-to-face world-class service (which includes handling the front desk in the center, coordinating the daily workflow of transaction requests, providing administrative support and serving as a back up counselor for the branch) for current and potential clients in an investor center. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greet current and potential clients as they walk-in to the investor center and provide world-class service and guidance to meet their needs - Discuss the objectives, suitability & performance of our mutual funds, proactively seek to uncover the clients hidden needs & present appropriate TRP products & services - Assist investors & prospects seeking information - Support Investment Counselors in reinforcing client-centric sales culture - Accurately coordinate workflow, including front end scanning, pouching of checks/logs & quality checking processed work - Ensure compliance of literature kits with NASD regulations - Provide administrative support to the Investment Center team, generate & send follow-up correspondence to clients, prepare local mailings & thank you letters, ensure the office maintains adequate inventory of updated literature kits, forms, reference materials & office supplies - Open & close center, checking messages, assisting with facility & vendor issues - Meet with clients serving as a backup when volumes are high, represent TRP in our local markets & over the phone using consultative sales approach supporting a client centric culture in the pursuit of new assets to the firm QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelors degree preferred - Series 6 &/or 63 required(7 & 63 required within 6 months) - Demonstrated ability to interact with clients via phone as well as in a face-to-face environment. - Good organizational skills - Ability to exercise good judgment in stressful situations - Knowledgeable about TRPs products and services - General knowledge of financial markets, industry dynamics, competitors & investment products - High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of related experience & the Series 6 & 63 licenses required RELOCATION ASSISTANCE IS AVAILABLE!
