The HCV Specialist will be responsible for promoting/detailing the HCV portfolio in the Dallas East, TX territory. The sales specialist is responsible for growing and maintaining the HCV product base for Roche and will be measured on sales results. They will be a member of a divisional team that will be responsible for contributing to sales regionally and nationally. The HCV Specialist needs to establish strong relationships and foster credibility with a variety of health care professionals. Daily activities include: one-on-one sales presentations to targeted physicians; arrangement of group selling programs; providing continuing education and value added services to physicians; preparing and negotiating contracts; and preparing and analyzing market data in order to identify customer and market trends. Strong involvement in community associations and societies provides for a rewarding relationship with patients, as well as physicians. Who you are: You’re someone who wants to influence your own development. A Bachelors degree is required with at least 4 years of pharmaceutical sales experience is required; 5 to 7 is preferred. HCV experience a plus. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success and an ability to develop new business and customer relationships. Overnight travel is required, including some weekends.
