Interactions will be numerous with colleagues in X-ray crystallography, molecular modeling, synthetic chemistry, and protein design and expression. There will be opportunities for providing technical expertise to a small molecule NMR lab, utilizing a Varian VAST system, and exploring micro-coil probe technology. The lab possesses two instruments - Varian Inova 600 MHz and 500 MHz -dedicated to biological work. The lab has a strong track record of successfully assisting drug discovery, and is fully supported by the heads of research.
