Description: 248052 Job Title: Teller - Bilingual Location: Newark,NJ, New Jersey 071023717 United States Hrs/Wk: 24 Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Overall purpose of this position is to provide teller transaction quality and efficiency to customers who prefer face-to-face interaction with the bank. Ability to uncover customer needs beyond the immediate transaction and being able to successfully transition the customer to the appropriate source or channel to address the need. Educate customers about sales and service delivery options and assure that the quality of service does not decline if the interaction is not face-to-face, meaning that the teller must have a thorough understanding of the customers transaction requirements and be able to effectively communicate all available options. Goals are transaction quality, transaction efficiency, customer relations, customer education, and teamwork. REQUIREMENTS: A High School diploma/G ED or are currently enrolled in a High School/G ED program is required. Some related work experience in retail sales and/or customer service required; at least six months preferred. Strong customer relations and problem solving skills required; ability to communicate effectively with customers and establish rapport when handling customer inquiries and transactions. Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication and listening skills required. Must be able to effectively deal with high customer traffic and constant interruptions. Strong attention to detail is required. Ability and desire to interact in a team environment; must be willing to contribute to team efforts. Teller or Cash handling experience is preferred. Successful completion of Teller TEAM Academy, including Teller Multimedia, Teller Skills Practice Lab, and Teller Apprenticeship required. Ability to communicate in Spanish naturally and effectively, in formal and informal situations, on practical, social, and professional topics required. Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8:30-2, Sat in another Center 8:30-12:30 Wachovia
