Skills Required:


Pump expert to handle the daily requirements of diagnostic evaluations, preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, Engineering specifications and recommendations system improvements. Knowledge of Worthington pumps a must and IR (Ingersol rand) and KSB pumps a plus. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products needed.



Additionally:



Some circulating pumps produce 175-180 gallons per minute


High pressure BPF pumps and service water pumps are numerous in the system.



Job Description/Daily Duties:


Respond to the field needs for repair/maintenance of the pumps in the Fossil Generation Fleet. Perform the duties of Systems Engineer for the pump systems requiring predictive maintenance programs and preventative maintenance programs development. Review/develop specifications for new pumps.



Additionally:



Will be responsible for the overhauls, repairs and clearances


Will be the supervisor and engineer responsible for pumps


Will be the in-house pump expert



Required:


Strong technical knowledge of pumps and pumping systems


Good interpersonal skills for communications with field personnel both in the management and bargaining unit.


Self-starter that takes ownership and responsibility for the pumps.



Rate:


$40-$47/hr, Commensurate with experience



Additional Information:


Per Diem if Applicable - $730/week
