Description: Sr. Linux/Unix System Administrator - Apache, TCP/IP, PHP, Shell


Due to growth, we are currently recruiting for a talented and experienced Sr. Linux/Unix System Administrator to join our team on a FT/Permanent basis. Also, because we are an internet and online media company, experience working with web servers, internet technologies, and web applications would be extremely beneficial. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.



Must Have Skills:


1.) 4-8+ years of experience as a hands on System Administrator managing Unix and/or Linux Servers



2.) Candidates should have experience with TCP/IP and Sub-Net Masking.



3.) Candidates should have experience with Web Servers. Experience with Apache is preferred.



4.) Candidates should have experience with Scripting languages such as PHP, Shell, Perl, or Unix scripting.



5.) Candidates should have experience with performing System Administration for remote locations.



Nice to Have Skills


1.) Experience with Capacity Planning and Performance Tuning would be helpful.


2.) Experience with MySQL, ORACLE, Flash, and Content Management would be helpful.


3.) Experience with High-Availability Cluster/Load Balanced Solutions, NAS/NFS.


5.) Change Management methods and Disaster Recovery is helpful


6.) BS in Information Technology, MIS, or related.
