Description: Electrical Designer (Microstation) with power plant design experience.


Location: Northern NJ


Duration: 3-6+ months


Rate: $50-60/hr



Skills Required:


Experience with Microstation CAD software.



10 years+ experience required in the area of Fossil Plant electrical Design.



Knowledge of ProjectWise Document management software is preferable.



Job Description/Daily Duties:



Provide detailed power plant electrical design services; create and/or revise electrical drawings for Power Fossil power plants including cable and conduit routing drawings, power distribution, plant auxiliaries, lighting, grounding, fire protection, communication, etc.; specify and prepare electrical material lists; provide input and support for Project estimating efforts; manage electrical drawings in the Power Electronic Document Management System.



Job will require occasional travel to other Power Plants for project meetings, site design review, construction and commissioning support, and drawing post outage as-built.
