Manual and Automated Software Tester



Candidate will assist the QA team in finding, identifying, and documenting bugs in insurance industry software applications, and executing manual regression tests which include proofreading documents generated to ensure applications work as per specifications. Much of the project work is in the AS400 / Calligo document management system which requires proofing policies generated against master templates and ensuring adherence to formatting and page layout standards. Testers work with the QA and development teams to execute manual test cases and perform other system testing tasks as assigned. Candidate will have visibility to different systems used by the company, and be part of a project team that must adhere to strict timelines. Fluency in Spanish is a big plus, as we have much documentation available in Spanish.

Requirements:


Required Skills and Attributes for this Position:


QA experience in multiple test environments, AS 400 and/or Calligo a big plus


Experience with defect tracking tools, test documentation, Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe


Ability to work with Excel spreadsheets and financial calculations


Ability to manage time and complete work.


An analytical, probing mindset


Good communication skills- verbal and written.


Strong teaming skills.


Document management project experience preferred
