Description
Job Summary and Mission Responsible for the day to day execution of assigned customer’s requirements. Job duties involve extensive customer service, phone work, spreadsheet analysis, issue resolution, and cargo coordination. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.
Summary of Key Responsibilities Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following: * Collect data and assemble into proper format. * Provide outstanding customer service internally and externally on assigned accounts. * Resolve issues as they occur related to cargo movement/transactions. * Analyze report data for trends and work with Account Services Supervisor/Manager to develop, implement and execute corrective action plans. * Coordinate cargo flow with related internal parties. * Monitor specific customer’s cargo flow through EGL’s supply chain.
Qualifications
Summary of Experience and Education * High School Degree or GED required. * Minimum four to five years related experience. * Minimum three years industry experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Outstanding interpersonal and service orientation skills, demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic and helpful manner, diplomacy and patience. * Excellent problem-solving, multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail. * Excellent analytical skills. * Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities. * Ability to work independently with a minimal amount of direction. * Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. * Ability to communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds. * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. * Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. * Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees and customers. * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications. * Accurate typing and/or data entry skills. * Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using units of U.S. or international currency, volume, weight and distance measurements.
