Description: Primary responsibility of the Food Service Worker is to provide the highest quality of customers service at all times. Other responsibilities include setting up stations with breads, condiments and utensils, serving and replenishing food from counters and steam tables and breaking down stations at the end of meal periods following verbal or written instructions. The Food Service Worker may brew coffee and tea, lift and move supplies, equipment, furniture and food. Additional responsibilities include preparing salads, fruits, melons and gelatin dessert and cleaning vegetables and fruits. The Food Service Worker peels, cleans, and cuts food products and prepares cold sandwiches and cheese and read recipes and product directions, preparing appropriate pans for cooking, placing and removing pans into/out of equipment to cook and store.
