Description: Email Marketing Manager

The E-mail Marketing Manager is responsible for all aspects of e-mail marketing functions. This person works closely with internal stakeholders to drive multi-language e-mail campaigns supporting online and direct mail prospect marketing, customer marketing, customer loyalty and educational programs. He/she serves as the subject matter expert on all matters relating to e-mail marketing and should have extensive knowledge of e-mail strategies and best practices, including development of segmentation, targeting, personalization and trigger based campaigns. Reporting to the Director of Web Marketing, this position will also lead the process for selecting a new global e-mail marketing platform. Duties and Responsibilities • Develop and execute global e-mail customer contact strategy • Manage e-mail marketing projects from start to finish, overseeing design, copywriting, testing and production schedules • Forecast e-mail product sales via eCommerce Web sites and telesales teams, analyze results and report metrics on campaign performance • Champion advancements in e-mail marketing including segmentation, targeting, personalization and trigger based campaigns • Manage and grow e-mail subscriber lists (opt-in & opt-out processes) in accordance with local in-country privacy and regulatory laws • Ensure e-mail deliverability best practices are followed (technical and creative) and manage undeliverables • Manage external vendors and resources as required Additional Information Location: MAYWOOD, NJ

Experience: Required Skills and Experience • Minimum 3 years experience managing corporate e-mail programs and 7 years overall business experience • In-depth knowledge of e-mail marketing best practices, regulations, anti-spam laws and subscriber list management • Extensive experience managing all aspects of e-mail marketing programs including content development, creative design, quality assurance and key performance metrics • Proven ability to drive revenues through e-mail marketing programs • Skilled in establishing e-mail analytics for measuring and optimizing campaign effectiveness • Knowledge of creative desktop programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, etc., and technical languages such as HTML, JavaScript, ASP and PHP are a plus • Detail oriented, strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams • BA in marketing, business or a related field
