SUMMARY OF POSITION This position develops, executes and manages consumer direct-marketing programs to meet strategic brand objectives and goals. Candidates for this position will be required to have demonstrated experience in database marketing, e-marketing, direct response advertising and backend program management and measurement within the RX pharmaceutical industry. This position will manage multiple agency/vendor relationships, drive activities across multi-functional teams and balance workload priorities across a number of brands. Experience in asthma/allergy, women’s health, cardiovascular disease states is preferred.
* Develop and execute direct marketing strategies, programs and tactics across all primary care customer group brands * Define consumer messaging opportunities and collaborate with market research partners to develop concept/message research and interpret results * Develop and manage promotional offers for multiple brands including co-pay offset programs and trial vouchers * Develop and coordinate measurement plans with market research and analytics to determine program effectiveness * Functional focus of the role is direct response & CRM including direct mail, email, offer development/management/testing, IVR and in-office materials * Member of the cross-functional brand teams working successfully with all relevant departments including sales operations, market research, analytics, trade marketing and managed markets * Successfully manage multiple agencies and vendors, including CRM/advertising agencies, fulfillment vendors, offer management companies, database service providers and other promotional vendors/suppliers as needed * Navigate regulatory review process and work with legal/regulatory/medical teams to ensure communication quality * Successfully manage brand budgets and timelines
Minimal education required for this job Bachelors Degree -- Any Skills Education: . Bachelors degree required. . MBA or other advanced degree is a plus. Experience: . Successful track record in pharmaceutical advertising or marketing to consumers required, with 5-6 years relevant experience. . Budget management experience required. . Experience working with cross-functional groups made up of one or more of the following: Marketing, Sales, Market Research, Operations, Regulatory or Legal . Agency management experience required. . Exposure to classical consumer marketing training. .
