Description: Position Title Research Statistician Business Division Research Institute Country U.S.A. Location NJ Kenilworth Job Description Provide statistical consultation to clinical monitors and research scientists. Provide advice on study designs and statistical methodologies. Recommend study designs, propose and document statistical methodologies and estimate sample sizes. Conduct statistical analyses and participate with a team of experts to prepare study reports that interpret the results of clinical trials. Review literature for statistical methodologies for analysis of clinical trials or non-clinical data. Minimal education required for this job Ph.D. Skills Position requires a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in Statistics or related field of study, plus one (1) year of experience in job offered or related occupation, such as Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant in Statistics. Position also requires specialization in either cancer research topics or computational techniques as demonstrated by graduate research or direct application to clinical trial data. 40 hours/wk, M-F, 8:00 am -5:00 pm. *In lieu of Ph.D. degree in statistics, employer will accept a M.S. degree in statistics, plus 4 years of experience.
