Detailed Description OBJECTIVE: To provide professional and administrative support to a variety of functional areas within Staffing and Employee Relations: employment, benefits and training. Assist Human Resources Business Partner with global headcount control, employee relation issues, business planning and professional training for both employees and managers. Assist Recruiters with administrative support in managing requisition approval and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative: . Work with HRIS and department admins to ensure data is accurate in the Oracle system. . Run reports from Oracle system when needed . Coordinate all paperwork for new hires, status changes and terminations (collection of new hire paperwork, PAFs and termination packets). . Own employee and benefit files for your site; create new hire files and file paperwork in files. . Collaborate with and support HR Director, HR Generalists, and Staffing on specified projects
Employment/Staffing: . Assemble new hire paperwork packets to send out with Offer Letters to potential New Hires . Manage the contingency workforce through establishing and maintaining relationship with our preferred Agency Vendor and administering the internal process with hiring manages.
Employee Relations: . May act as a liaison between HR and other departments/associates regarding HR issues. . Serve as support as well as back up for HR Business Partner. . Provide support to employees/managers regarding general benefits and other administrative inquires. Assist employees with employee issues, HR policy & procedure questions. . Strong knowledge of employee benefit programs, including but not limited to: group medical, dental & vision insurances; STD & LTD, voluntary life, flex spending, 401(k), ESPP, stock option grants. . Coordinate and process unemployment insurance, state disability, workers compensation claim forms for designated business units. File with state and workers compensation carrier (Zurich). Assist employee when filing a state disability or workers comp claim from initial request through final return to work. . Work with Zurich to respond to ergo requests - ensure that employee has proper equipment and has it properly set-up. . Coordinate and monitor all leaves of absences (LOAs) in designated business units from initial request through final return to work. . Process new hires. Oversee and assist in orientation of new employees to include assembling of new hire packets & files and follow-up of outstanding paperwork. . Present and facilitate New Hire Orientation as per schedule. . Assist in managing and/or facilitating various training . Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Provide backup as needed for all department activities . Support the ER team by managing pending background check issues
Job Requirements SKILL EXPECTATIONS:

Ability to influence management and employees on various HR policies and practices. . Ability to adjust to rapidly changing priorities in order to accomplish the most sensitive issue. . Ability to exercise good judgment to properly advise employee on HR matter and escalate higher-level issues to HRG and HR Director. . Demonstrates exceptional communication skills including listening skills to effectively interact with employees, managers and outside personnel. . Effective organizational skills to maintain employee information in a confidential manner. . Some knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations. . Ability to multi task. . Computer literate: Windows 2000, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Oracle (HRIS). . Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. . Team player .
