Job ID: 8039 Description: Pershing/BNY are launching an exciting new corporate entity, iNautix USA, which will provide IT outsourcing as well as technology related products and services to financial institutions. The new organization will be free of many regulatory tethers typically associated with the internal IT department of a registered broker dealer or bank. It will leverage the current offshore development assets of iNautixIndiaand extend this to include business process outsourcing.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor in the development of iNautixUSAs first financial product, as well as participate in establishment of the new product development framework. He or she may be given the opportunity to move into la leadership role with the steady state product or to be an ongoing member of the • New Product Factory? team which will go on to build and mentor subsequent new product teams.

Candidates must be self motivated entrepreneurs who are comfortable working though vagueness, with disruptive technology, and breaking new ground. Team members will bring experience and specialized competencies, but must be willing to pitch in and adept at working with others to ensure the success of the common goal. Overbearing egos and 9-5• ers need not apply. Prior experience with financial advisor workstations, portfolio planning software, performance reporting, and RUP/Iconix/UML is highly preferred. Test Analyst/Designer The Test Analyst role is responsible for initially identifying and subsequently defining the required tests, monitoring the test coverage and evaluating the overall quality experienced when testing the Target Test Items. This role also involves specifying the required Test Data and evaluating the outcome of the testing conducted in each test cycle. Sometimes this role is also referred to as theTest Designer, or considered part of theTesterrole. This role is responsible for: * Identifying the Target Test Items to be evaluated by the test effort * Defining the appropriate tests required and any associated Test Data * Gathering and managing the Test Data * Evaluating the outcome of each test cycle The Test Designer role is responsible for defining the test approach and ensuring its successful implementation. The role involves identifying the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests, and to give guidance on the corresponding resources requirements for the test effort. Sometimes this role is also referred to as theTest Architect,Test Automation ArchitectorTest Automation Specialist. This role is responsible for: * Identifying and describing appropriate test techniques * Identifying the appropriate supporting tools * Defining and maintaining a Test Automation Architecture * Specifying and verifying the required Test Environment Configurations * Verify and assess the Test Approach Skills and Knowledge * knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process * experience in a wide variety of testing efforts, techniques and tools * people skills, especially diplomacy and advocacy skills * planning and management skills * good analytical skills * a challenging and enquiring mind * attention to detail and tenacity * understanding of common software failures and faults * experience in a variety of testing efforts * diagnostic and problem solving skills * broad knowledge of hardware and software installation and setup * experience and success with the use of test automation tools * training in the appropriate use of test automation tools * experience using test automation tools * debugging and diagnostic skills * programming skills (preferable) * knowledge of the domain, system or application-under-test (desirable) * experience programming or managing programming teams (desirable) General managerial skills are required. These include, but are not exclusive to: * Strong conceptual, analytical, and project management skills * Solve practical problems and deal with possibly conflicting needs where limited resource exists * Thoroughly analyze potential solutions and identify potential problems with each solution * Recognize, hire, and motivate staff of all skill levels * Find information in on-line technical services and sites * Make decisions required by essential duties and responsibilities * Detail orientation and strong organizational skills * Ability to multi-task and good time management skills * Team player * Flexibility and creativity * Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
