Network Voice Implementations Job Description: Voice Implementations Engineer capable of supporting Cisco Unified Call Manager VoIP Systems in the NY Metro area and US branches as it pertains to deployment, configuration and integration. Specific responsibilities are:

* Cisco Call Manager installation, upgrades and configuration * VoIP PSTN Gateway Interworking with carriers and other telephony systems in the firm like Avaya and IPC * Unity Voicemail deployment * VoIP remote office deployment * Working with network design engineers to address system performance that impact VoIP service quality * Investigate & evaluate alternate design options for the purpose of controlling costs, improving service quality/reliability and implementing change requests when approved * Support operations when needed Requirements/Qualifications:

* 3-5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Cisco VOIP infrastructure solutions * Experience with Cisco voice technologies such as CUCM (Call Manager), Unity, gatekeepers, and gateways. * Active Cisco certifications a plus: CCVP, CCNP, CCDP. * Experience in engineering WAN telecommunications and LAN network systems that incorporate VoIP service as part of a converged infrastructure including background in design, deployment, and system integration & test. * Experience with designs that use either VoIP trunks or PSTN trunks to connect enterprise LAN VoIP with a service providers PSTN dial-up telephony services. * Understanding of VoIP signaling options and gateway protocols, such as H.323, SIP and MGCP. * Familiarity with VoIP in context of scalable network architectures with large numbers of remote offices interconnected with each other and corporate offices via WAN IP/MPLS. * Self directed & motivated with an ability to work in a team environment. * Interpersonal, communications and documentation skills required.
