Storage Engineer Lehman Brother Infrastructure and Engineering group is looking for an experienced Storage Engineer for the Global storage engineering group, with expertise in SAN, NAS or both. This position will be reporting to the Global Head of storage engineering, Responsibilities Engineering (standards, certifications, configurations and the like), product selection, long-range planning, strategy, and vendor engineering relationship management. Scope includes: NAS, SAN, SRM storage reporting and file-based HSM. Products include: EMC DMX, Cisco and Brocade switches, NetApp filers, Symantec CCS SRM reporting tools, and FLM filer HSM tools. Requirements Strong academic and professional track record. Undergraduate degree (BA, BSc or equivalent). Minimum of 4 of experience in financial services industry or a professional services environment that covers the financial service industry. Experience in EMC (array hardware, Enginuity, Symcli, Cisco/Brocade switches), or NetApp (filer hardware, Ontap/WAFL, ASIS, Snapmirror), or both. Perl scripting and SQL a big plus Reporting on the intranet portal experience preferred Strong communication skills. Ability to prioritize, be flexible and respond to changing environments. Organized and able to handle multiple deliverables simultaneously.
