POSITION: FRAUD RISK & COMPLIANCE ANALYST Major Responsibilities: oIdentifies areas of CS-related risk, recommends and proposes solutions accordingly oDrives the review, research, improvement, at times creation and maintenance of all internal procedures that might have associated risk oDevelops and provides training on fraud prevention, money laundering and related issues oReviews and analyzes data, reporting and information related to customer account activity suspected of being associated or susceptible to fraud, money laundering etc. oCS/Operations Forum participant oMay assist with and/or drive creation and refinement of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports detailing fraud losses, identified risk, recoveries, etc. oAssists with in the review of and revision of AML/BSA/US Patriot Act/OFAC procedures to ensure the maximization of integration and consistencies between all lines of business and entities oWorks closely with the Fraud Prevention / Risk, AML & Investigations Statistical Analysts, Compliance and other business units responsible for monitoring the organizations money laundering, trading surveillance and fraud risk areas oWorks closely with Associate Registration to monitor, update and review licensed employees within Customer Service and their registration requirements oWill assist in updating Customer Services Written Supervisory Procedures for alignment across all Customer Contact Centers oHelps with any Internal or Regulatory Audits and able to provide solutions to complex issues oMaintains the external email review database for Customer Service and updates as needed oDevelops new fraud scenarios and will help with testing new parameters and profiles within the detection systems oAssists in the SQC and Knowledge Base article updates and related training materials oPartners with our CSSG team, to identify and report on weaknesses in front line security procedures Job Requirements
Required Experience and Education: oAbility to work independently, but able to seek out senior mgt and subject matter experts for guidance oAbility to effectively communicate within all levels of the organization oExhibit excellent judgment and have ability to make sound decisions in crisis situations oEmotional maturity to understand impact and sensitivity of security issues oAble to understand firm liability and to proactively work to limit it accordingly oFlexibility to adapt to constant change with the ability to manage multiple assignments oStrong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational and project mgt skills oAbility to organize, facilitate and run group meetings, conference calls etc oStrong analytical skills including ability to research, schedule, analyze and present investigative findings oIn depth knowledge of financial services, securities, banking or related experience oKnowledge of E*Trade programs, applications, policies and procedures oKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required oWill need to effectively work closely and collaboratively with CS Mgt (all levels) oSeries 7 & 63 licenses required.
