Job ID: 8011_8-15 Description: Pershing/BNY are launching an exciting new corporate entity, iNautix USA, which will provide IT outsourcing as well as technology related products and services to financial institutions. The new organization will be free of many regulatory tethers typically associated with the internal IT department of a registered broker dealer or bank. It will leverage the current offshore development assets of iNautixIndiaand extend this to include business process outsourcing.

The successful candidate will be a key contributor in the development of iNautixUSAs first financial product, as well as participate in establishment of the new product development framework. He or she may be given the opportunity to move into la leadership role with the steady state product or to be an ongoing member of the • New Product Factory? team which will go on to build and mentor subsequent new product teams.

Candidates must be self motivated intrapreneurs who are comfortable working though vagueness, with disruptive technology, and breaking new ground. Team members will bring experience and specialized competencies, but must be willing to pitch in and adept at working with others to ensure the success of the common goal. Must be able to handle multiple demands and commit to work long hours. Prior experience with financial advisor workstations, portfolio planning software, performance reporting, and RUP/Iconix/UML is highly preferred.

Domain Expert / Operations Manager The Domain Expert possess industry leading experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas: portfolio accounting, financial reconciliation, brokerage operations management, performance reporting, financial planning, and/or a related position in the development of associated products/applications. Job Responsibilities During Product Design . Acts as an in house subject and customer expert . Defines product and application requirements. . Performs business and operation process modeling. . Act as a intellectual capital resource for the product team and technical staff. . Provides second level support for customer inquiries and issues. Optional Paths . Continues to act as an area domain expert in a subsequent new product development which requires similar domain knowledge. . Transitions to the role of lead domain expert in the New Product Factory, and establishes the ongoing process surrounding domain experts in the new product framework. . Assumes a leadership role in the product or operations management of a steady state product. Qualifications Requirements . 10-15 years experience inportfolio accounting, financial reconciliation, brokerage operations management, performance reporting, financial planning, and/or a related position in the development of associated products/applications. . Extensive knowledge of domain and an established network of industry resources, . In depth experience with Microsoft Office Productivity Tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Windows, and Internet . Knowledge of software development cycle, user application design (preferred) . Prior or existing role in an industry group or association. Ability to perform the following is required: . Read, analyze, research, and interpret Marketing and Business development documents and information, general business periodicals, or professional journals. . Develop training plans and materials, conduct both formal and mentor training sessions, and cultivate knowledge pools. General managerial skills are required. These include, but are not exclusive to: . Strong conceptual, analytical, and project management skills . Solve practical problems and deal with possibly conflicting needs where limited resource exists . Thoroughly analyze potential solutions and identify potential problems with each solution . Recognize, hire, and motivate staff of all skill levels . Find information in on-line technical services and sites . Make decisions required by essential duties and responsibilities . Detail orientation and strong organizational skills . Ability to multi-task and good time management skills . Team player . Flexibility and creativity . Excellent written and oral communication skills are required. Must be able to clearly communicate and present to all levels. Preferred: . Outsourcing/Offshoring experience a plus. . Managing/leading other Business Developers a plus . Exposure to UML, Object Oriented Analysis, and an Iterative Development Lifecycle (RUP/Iconix)
