Description: Our client, a leading Market Research company dedicated to the healthcare industry, is in need of multiple Data Analysts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Basic Function: To assist the Manager and all members of the Analytic team throughout all aspects of client projects, including project planning, methodology, instrument design, project coordination, data collection, quantitative and/or qualitative analysis, and client presentations. Data will encompass both primary and secondary data sets. Nature and Scope: The focus of this position is to ensure the quality execution of client-contracted primary market research engagements, as well as handling ad-hoc requests from clients regarding secondary data. The Project Analyst will be involved at all levels of primary market research projects. Principal Responsibilities: 1. This individual is responsible for assisting the Manager in planning and coordinating client-contracted engagements. 2. The Project Analyst will interact with clients in formulating methodologies and study designs that will be able to answer key business questions. 3. This position will be responsible for training clients on the use of the interface for our Promotional Audit. 4. Design and modify all study instruments used in contracted projects. 5. Coordinate and manage project activities. 6. Maintain a dialogue with Client throughout projects. 7. Assist in the quantitative and qualitative data collection. 8. Provide all statistical variations of study designs. 9. Analyze data and provide results in tabular or graphic format, as required. 10. Prepare and design presentations of the key findings. QUALIFICATIONS 1. Bachelors degree required. Graduate degree, a plus. 2. Previous experience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotech or healthcare industry required. 3. Proficiency in methodological and survey design required. (SAQs, TIDIs, mail/fax, Internet) 4. Experience conducting qualitative research, (IDIs, Focus Groups) preferred. 5. Must be proficient with Internet and statistical software tools, particularly Excel & SPSS. 6. Must have excellent verbal and written communications with an orientation toward detail. 7. Experience in statistical, quantitative, and psychometric analysis, preferred. 8. Experience with Secondary data sources, preferred.
