Senior Business Analyst The Senior Business Analyst position is part of a rapidly changing and growing Enterprise Data/ Security Master Environment within Fidelity’s Operations and Services Group. Operations & Services Group (OSG) provides superior customer service to Fidelitys Institutional Products Groups businesses through innovation, dedication and commitment to excellence. With eight operating divisions located throughout the country, OSG provides securities execution, clearance, and information management services to retail, institutional, and correspondent clients. OSG performs tens of thousands of over-the-counter, listed equities, options, bonds, and mutual fund transactions daily. This position will be responsible for simultaneously managing multiple projects aimed at improving the breadth, depth and quality of descriptive and pricing data used throughout Fidelity to support trading, asset servicing, account valuations, calculations and statements/confirms.

Primary Responsibilities * Manage project plans for multiple projects * Document business requirements in collaboration with subject matter experts and business partners * Perform data analysis of vendor and internal data * Provide regular status updates to Management Team * Act as liaison between Business and Technology

Qualifications

Education and Experience * BA / BS degreerequired * 5 or more years experience with increasing responsibilities in a project or analyst role. Skills and Knowledge . Exposure to and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) . Experience with descriptive and pricing data for Equity, Fixed Income and Options securities . Experience with market and reference data vendors . Experience within the brokerage operations of a major financial institutions . Detail oriented with the ability to quickly organize, prioritize and work within a multiple concurrent task environment . Self motivated individual able to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment with competing demands for resources . Strong analytical and problem solving skills . Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . Proven task management skills adhering to deadlines . Excellent writing, verbal and leadership skills . High level of PC skills including Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Visio and Project . Motivation and willingness to learn new technologies .
