Description: 253347 Job Title: Teller Manager Location: Hackensack,NJ, New Jersey 07601-0000 United States Hrs/Wk: 40 Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: RESPONSIBILITIES: Directly manages tellers and oversees all teller line activities within the financial center. Coaches teller team to help grow customer relationships by identifying opportunities and referring to the appropriate salesperson. Oversees daily staffing (including breaks and lunches), to minimize customer wait times and enhance service levels. Partners with other job family and business line employees to effectively serve our clients. Facilitates an environment that ensures teamwork within the teller team. Actively participates within the financial center team, daily financial center huddles, and team meetings to ensure that financial center goals are achieve. Manages Human Resources issues including hiring, discipline, and termination with service leaders. Coaches tellers and conducts reviews supported by service leaders. REQUIREMENTS: High school degree or equivalent required. 1-2 years face-to-face customer service experience required. Related banking experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to strive for and obtain customer satisfaction. 1-2 years of experience working as a teller or management experience preferred. Cash handling experience required. Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Must have a basic understanding of financial concepts such as credits, debits, and cash handling. Must be willing to provide and receive performance feedback. Basic knowledge of Human Resources policy and procedures including hiring and performance management preferred. Basic Internet skills required. Ability to create, open, delete, and print e mails. Must be able to work a flexible schedule that accommodates standard hours for retail operation.......... BILINGUAL (SPANISH) PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED.......... WORK SCHEDULE: Mondays - Thursdays 8:30am - 5:00pm, Fridays 8:30am - 6:00pm & Rotating Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm. Wachovia
