Description: We are looking for a strong Accounting Manager/Sr. Accounting Manager who wants to roll up their sleeves and be apart of our team! The ideal candidate is an individual who is highly motivated and is looking to advance in their career.



Responsibilities:


Manage day to day activities and be hands on in all aspects of accounting


Oversee month end booking, inventory and COGS


Monthly/quarterly/annual closing of the books


Account Reconciliation


Detailed analysis of actual results compared to operating plan


Providing accurate financial reports such as labor, expenses, budgets, etc. to top management


Enthusiastic about learning and being well verse in our ERP system (Made 2 Manage) on the Financial Module


Ongoing process improvements to maximize efficiencies in the department


Continuously and suggesting ways for cost reduction that would effect the entire company


Motivate, mentor and manage the finance/accounting team



Requirements:


Minimum 5 years of GAAP accounting experience


Minimum 2 years of management experience


Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance


Must have cost accounting experience


Must have the ability to think strategically


Must be hands on and highly motivated


Must have worked in a manufacturing company


Some international accounting experience would be a plus


Ability to work overtime and do what it takes to get the job done


Advanced computer skills and Proficient in Excel


Previous ERP database with Finance module experience and willingness to learn and use the system to its full capacity


Excellent verbal and written communication skills
