Location: NJ-Greenville Job Category Manufacturing Operations Status Permanent-Full Time Description Adecco Employment Services is the worlds largest staffing provider with over 6600 offices in 60 countries. We are seeking for a Specialist, Quality Manufacturing for a leading beauty cosmetic manufacturer company, located in Oakland, NJ. Position Summary: This position is responsible for supporting the quality function in the assigned manufacturing or assembly plant. It is responsible for providing the tools necessary to ensure the quality of the process. This will include setting manufacturing procedures, designing gauges, defining gauge uses and instructing production personnel in their use, process mapping, studies for process improvement including participation and facilitation in DOEs, FMEAs, etc. Additionally, confirm and maintain aesthetic standards, assembly specifications and fill standards. Responsibilities: *Lead in the resolution of quality issues and aid in daily troubleshooting utilizing root cause analysis, process mapping, process improvement teams, etc. on a timely basis *Manage and supervise the daily tasks and the development and training of non-exempt QA staff *Responsibility for the quality function in new equipment purchase and validation trials *Responsibility for the quality function during line trials for new products and components *Determine disposition of product based on findings and audits *Evaluate product issues on the production floor and coordinate the resolution with Incoming QA and the supplier. Follow up with Packaging Department and suppliers. *Perform independent project work related to corporate or departmental goals and objectives *Maintain an ongoing communication with Production, QA Labs, Tech Services, Assembly, Packaging, SRP, Distribution and component suppliers regarding quality issues. *Maintain records and ensure that the proper data is entered into the corporate computer system. *Participate in system improvement programs. *Aid in the training of new Production staff in basic quality assurance methods, recognition of aesthetic parameters and Good Manufacturing Practices. *Assist production with the interpretation of accept/reject criteria for finished goods and components. Initiate and implement product and process improvement and develop cost savings initiatives. *Create, revise and maintain documentation *Facilitate OTC product information and disposition Qualifications: *Minimum 4 year college degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related field *Minimum of 5 years experience in a related industry and/or capacity *Knowledge of Statistical Process Control techniques, process mapping, root cause analysis and other advanced problem solving techniques *Good Management, communication and team skills *Supervisory experience preferred *Demonstrated problem solving, organizational, prioritization and time management skills *Proven ability to work with minimal supervision *Demonstrated computer literacy Progression to Grade 24: *Highly proficient in grade 23 qualifications *Excellent organizational, prioritization, and communication skills *Demonstrates solid problem solving and time management skills *Manages daily functions of the workcenter groups proficiently *Proven ability to work with minimal supervision * Maintains full understanding of business processes.
