Entry to 2 Years Experience Elmwood Park, NJ Geotechnical Engineering Posted: 9/15/2008 Employee Type:Full Time Langan has openings for Geotechnical Engineers with entry level to two years of experience at our Elmwood Park, NJ office.As the successful candidate, you will be working on both small and large-scale projects. You will assist with the preparation of technical reports, specifications, plans, designing foundations, retaining walls, and other geotechnical aspects of construction. Possession of a strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn is essential to this position. Requirements:

? B.S. in Civil Engineering; M.S. with geotechnical specialty preferred; ? FE/EIT certification; ? Excellent communication skills; ? Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and judgment capabilities; ? Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment; ? Must be able to perform field inspections of geotechnical and foundation projects; ? Field experience with construction monitoring is preferred, but not required; ?
