Description: 3601 Automotive Mechanic Location Elizabeth Headquarters - Elizabeth NJ (0128) Job Function Laborers No. of Positions 1 Job Description Perform all work required in the service, maintenance and repair of automotive and associated equipment, including auxiliary equipment. Must have ability to work under general supervision, aptitude for mechanical work and ability to use all materials, tools and equipment commonly associated with repair/service work. Must possess and maintain a valid NJ drivers license. Must possess or have ability to acquire NJ Class A Commercial Drivers License with Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements. Must have successfully completed 24 month Apprentice Automotive Mechanic training program or possess ASE certification. High school graduate or equivalent. Must obtain an acceptable score on the Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) Test. This is a Safety Sensitive position - D.O.T. testing is required. Desirable: Trade school or prior experience. Prior experience with hydraulic equipment.
