We have several positions available that are responsible for performing complex testing, fault isolation and repair of ITT products consisting of all types of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical equipment, working from test specifications, drawings, written or verbal instructions. Prepare and maintain test data records, graphs, test histories, status information, failure reports and any other information relating to equipment as it is deemed necessary by supervision. Perform trouble shooting, making all necessary repairs and/or replacements to assure prompt retest and acceptance of the unit. Analyze test results using knowledge of circuitry to determination the satisfactory condition of the equipment. Select and set up test equipment, and perform equipment self-test and calibration as needed to ensure the accuracy of the required tests, modifications and/or repair. Work with the minimum of supervision in conjunction with the engineering group assigned either in the test development or in the production testing of the unit. Must be capable of being an active participant while working in a team environment, communicating with fellow workers in order to ensure efficient operations within the production testing unit. Handle material and equipment required to perform job duties. Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or GED plus completion of a comprehensive course in electronic technology. Must have 2 5 years experience performing Digital, Analog, and RF testing using automated and manual test equipment. Experience in troubleshooting to the component level using standard COTS equipment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, under the guidance of engineers, as necessary. Knowledge of RF, Analog & Digital, and Closed Loop Systems. Knowledge of applicable military and/or commercial standards. Ability to apply electronic theory and considerable ingenuity and intuitive skill. Must have problem-solving skills. Must have effective written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of equipment utilized in performance of duties. Must be able to lift 30 pounds. Refer to the physical requirements and environmental factors identified in the Functional Job Analysis. Must be able to pass all applicable medical exams. Must obtain, at minimum, an interim secret clearance PRIOR to starting employment and have the ability to obtain Secret security clearance within 1 year of employment.
