Position Description: ITT Space Systems in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Sr Staff Electronic Power Systems Design Engineer who will be responsible for deriving and developing electrical power system architectures that meet customer requirements for space hardware development programs. This will include support of specification generation for electrical power systems and modules, execution of trade studies, and detailed design, modeling, and analysis of high reliability dc-dc converters and analog circuits. Applicant should be familiar with SPICE circuit modeling tools as well as power converter feedback/stability analysis. Additionally, experience with CAD tools (Cadence) is a plus. Experience Requirements: Requires B.S. degree, preferably in Engineering or in a technical area of science and research with 12- 20 years design and development experience in the electronics field or an MS degree with 10+ years experience or a PhD with 8+ years experience. MSEE preferred with background in power converter design. A minimum of 10 years relevant power supply design experience is required. Experience with high-reliability military and/or space-qualified hardware design is highly desirable. Security Clearance: This position may require the passing of both a background investigation and polygraph to achieve a variety of compartmented national security clearances. The individual holding this position must be a U. S. Citizen.
