Description: Title: Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer Location: NJ, Clifton Req Number: itti-00009997 Position Description: The Quality Assurance Group of ITT Space Systems Division in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer. In this position you will support team efforts directed at ISO/CMMI compliance and Continuous Improvement within Space Systems Division in the area of Software Quality. Under the direction of a Product Assurance Manager, you will plan, develop and implement a product assurance program for highly complex real time and/or embedded software systems. May supervise and check work of subordinate personnel in the accomplishment of these activities. Specific Responsibilities: - Executes the Software QA program and provides support to program software deliverables. - Interfaces with internal and external customers to resolve software quality issues. - Improves the Software Quality system and supporting procedures. - Performs internal audits and supports customer and third party audits. - Advises management of software QA issues and determines problem resolution in his or her areas of responsibility. Experience Requirements: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Equivalent Education Level: B.S. in Engineering Discipline, preferably with 5 or more years of experience in Quality Assurance. Six Sigma Greenbelt training and certification is a plus. A working knowledge of process improvement methodologies and a track record of process improvement result is required. An extensive background in Software Quality Assurance. This position requires the passing of both a background investigation and polygraph to achieve a variety of compartmented national security clearances.
