Description: Title: Sr. Mechanical Engineer Location: NJ, Clifton Req Number: itti-00010205 Position Description: The Mechanical Engineering Products Group of ITT Space Systems Division has an opening for a Sr. Mechanical Engineer in Clifton, NJ. This position will be responsible for developing mechanical designs and packaging concepts that meet customer requirements for space hardware development programs. Responsibilities required to accomplish this include support of: specification generation for mechanical requirements of advanced space based electronics systems and modules, execution of trades studies and detailed mechanical design and analysis of high reliability electronic systems Experience Requirements: Equivalent Education Level -- Requires B.S. degree in Mechanical. MS degree preferred. Experience Required -- Requires 10-15 years broad and extensive electronics engineering experience, two of which have been in design of Military or Space hardware. Experience designing with Pro E is a plus. Knowledge Required -- Must have a minimum 4 years of relevant electronics packaging design experience. This position may require the passing of both a background investigation and polygraph to achieve a variety of compartmented national security clearances.
