Basic qualifications: Responsible for performing full QCS testing on Intermediates, Batches and Finished Product, to ensure a timely flow of product through manufacturing. Maintain and utilize instrumentation for analytical purposes. Support Manufacturing in a timely manner by analyzing all intermediates and finished product that enters the laboratory using set methods and various analytical instruments including UV-VIS and AA. Other instrumentation used measure pH, Flouride, Specific Gravity (Density), Refractive Index and Optical Rotation. Wet chemistry techniques are used also. Entry of data from analysis of intermediates, finished batches and pakaged products into LIMS. Investigation of OOS (out of specification) results under supervision. Preparation and documentation of chemistry test solutions and standards. Assist the Chemist(s) in special projects, including Plant Trial and Process Validation testing. Inspection and microbial swabbing of manufacturing vessels before and after sanitization. Generate Packaging Instructions as per Production Supervisors request. Daily instrument calibration. Preferred qualifications: Associate Degree in Science and/or equivalent experience in General Chemistry. Wet chemistry skills. Experience with GMP and GLP. Computer skills. Detail oriented documentation skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
