Basic qualifications: One year experience working in a manufacturing environment assisting with the weighing of raw materials or six months experience working in a toothpaste manufacturing facility assisting with the weighing of raw materials. Ability to understand written weight and measurement instructions. Ability to routinely lift 50 pounds. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization to accomplish tasks. Ability to interface with associates in Quality Assurance and Packaging departments. Demonstrated commitment to safety. Good communication skills (verbal and written), good math skills. Ability and willingness to learn new things. Willingness to train others. Ability to adjust quickly to new responsibilities and tasks. Generate ideas for improvement. Demonstration of positive and reliable work attitude. Ability to work effectively with team/work groups. Flexibility to work 12 hour days (including weekends), overtime and shift coverage is required. Preferred qualifications: One year experience working in a manufacturing environment assisting with the weighing of raw materials or six months experience working in a toothpaste manufacturing facility assisting with the weighing of raw materials. Details: Responsible for assisting the Compounders with the following tasks: 1. Provide second signature for weighing of raw materials, which includes lot numbers, release label, resource code, retest date and description. 2. Provide second signature for batch processing steps, which may include addition of materials, double check of weight addition amounts, and processing parameters, e.g. vacuum, temperature, times and speeds for agitator, scraper and Disho. 3. Manual dumping of various ingredients as required for the various formulas. 4. Cleaning of work area and process equipment as necessary. 5. Liase with Compounder for the various duties and resolve differences as they arise. 6. Miscellaneous duties as directed by the Supervisor/Coach.
