Our Manufacturing Engineering team is looking for a results oriented individual with effective communication skills who can perform process control assignments in compliance with company procedures and contractual requirements. With guidance from more senior Production Engineers, you will ensure proper process control for key processes within given process focus team and take actions to strive for SIX SIGMA performance. Work performed will include modifying adn updating programs for automated assembly equipment, geneation of Engineering change notices, process step routings, and travelers, as well as assisting in the evaluation, identification and implementation of improvements in current manufacturing processes. The successful candidate must be a flexible, team oriented individual with the ability to focus on completing tasks in a timely manner. Must be detail oriented with strong interpersonal and problem solving skills, and the demonstrated ability to analyze work processes and make efficiency improvements while supporting and maintaining manufacturing practices, processes, and systems. Experience Requirements: B.S. or B.E. in Engineering, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred. Entry-level position. Technical knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems. Applied knowledge of CAD design, AutoCAD, Pro-Eng Wildfire, Solid Works,or SDRC. Basic knowledge of statistical methods and problem-solving skills. Economic analysis techniques to perform: cost "trade-off" studies, ROI, IRR, and Payback. Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to obtain a security clearance.
