The Director, Software Engineering is responsible for managing and directing the Software Engineering Value Center, and for the supervision and development of all Software Staff. This key position has a major impact on the value centers ability to design and develop electronic warfare systems. Software engineering technology forms a critical element in enabling Electronic Warfare Systems to advance the organization for future growth. Experience Requirements: Masters degree in Engineering or related disciplines with appropriate focus on computer systems and software technology. 15 - 20 years of experience in product development in electronics industry, with a substantial amount (10 years desirable) in software development. To include a minimum of 8 years experience in the management of large groups involved in the development of real-time software. Excellent technical knowledge of computer programming as related to development of electronic systems. In-depth knowledge through experience in real-time software for complex embedded systems. Thorough understanding of software design methodologies and software life-cycle development processes. Excellent understanding of project management techniques.
