Description: Pitney Bowes International Mail Services is the solution.As the largest international mail expediter in the United States, we are setting the standard for the consolidation and distribution of mail, marketing material, publications and parcels. http://www.imex.pb.com/%%0A %%0A Customer Service Representative - Fulfillment Specialist%%0A %%0A Summary:%%0A To take ownership of our customers, to be their advocate, to listen to their concerns, to support them, to provide them with solutions to their inquiries and continually exceed their expectations.%%0A %%0A Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:%%0A %%0A%%0A * Ensuring client satisfaction and retention by listening and responding to the clients' individual needs and wants. Proactively come up with solutions for clients and work with other parts of the organization to assist clients. Ensure all customer inquiries are handled in a professional and timely manner. Measured by internal and external surveys as well as from speaking with the clients themselves and others in the Pitney Bowes Organization. %%0A * Work closely with Production and Dispatch to ensure that material arrives for expected jobs, that they are put up correctly, dispatched correctly, shipper manifests are issued and that correct number of pieces have arrived. %%0A * Enter all special instructions into notes section of job sheet, highlight important details of job. %%0A * Review all customer instructions, emails and sales department pre-alerts pertaining to jobs. %%0A * Enter pricing if necessary. %%0A * Ensure that jobs run in Data Entry have correct weight and piece counts. %%0A * Ensure that jobs are directed to the correct departments for preparation and mailing. %%0A * Maintain client inventories as necessary. %%0A * Conduct daily production meetings to determine schedules for; Hand, Inkjet & Poly-wrapping Departments. %%0A * Supervise Data Entry. %%0A * Update customer spreadsheets %%0A * Prepare material to outsource, make trucking arrangements for delivery and follow up on completion of job and pickup. %%0A * Welcoming new customers via telephone and/or e-mail. %%0A * Handle and resolve any discrepancies, complaint handling, follow up calls, sales/lead generation, and ensuring customer satisfaction. %%0A * Monitoring all mailings from pickup to delivery destination - by using all the resources provided by Pitney Bowes, communicating with operations before and during the mail processing, communicating with billing to make sure that the service is billed correctly. End results should be that mail moved seamlessly through the system and business and customer satisfaction is increased. %%0A * Hold Management - working directly with clients if their shipment is placed on hold. Must receive authorization from clients to process mail. Advising and training clients on proper procedures in order to eliminate holds in the future. %%0A * Work closely with Sales Team and Production Dept. to meet and exceed customer's expectations. %%0A * Clean and update databases - maintain database by consistently updating information and deleting incorrect or out dated information. %%0A * Must provide reports upon management or customer request. %%0A * Administrative functions such as filing, correspondence, etc. %%0A * Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.%%0A%%0A %%0A %%0A Education and / or Experience: %%0A%%0A * Associates degree in business, plus 2 years experience in customer service, experience in processing international mail products a required. %%0A%%0A Knowledge / Skill Requirements:%%0A%%0A * Language / Writing - Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills required%%0A * Computer - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel - Strong PC skills a must; database experience a plus%%0A%%0A %%0A%%0A * Other Skills and Abilities%%0A * Must have a positive attitude and be enthusiastic about dealing with customer issues%%0A * Requires excellent communication skills, as well as a tactful and professional phone manner and able work with all levels of management%%0A * Ability to prioritize and work independently with a sense of urgency is a must%%0A * Ability to anticipate client needs and answer client's questions pertaining to jobs, billing inquiries, and pricing %%0A * Ability to perform well with sales department, all internal departments while embracing the concepts of teamwork%%0A * Proven ability to multitask and manage time effectively, meticulous attention to detail is a must%%0A * Ability to understand and communicate key procedures of operations, billing, accounting and the international mail industry%%0A * Must be able to build a rapport with customer base and project a positive image of the company at all times%%0A * Strong customer orientation%%0A * Must be people oriented%%0A * Must have superior organizational, research and follow up skills%%0A * Reliability and good attendance a must%%0A%%0A Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
