Provides support to the business unit, serving as their primary point of contact for all international related matters to ensure compliance with U.S. Government Department and State and other regulations including The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) regulations and requirements, United States Postal Inspection, U.S. Commerce Police and Export Administration Regulations (EAR)%%0A %%0A Key Responsibilities%%0A%%0A * Responsible for policy setting and direction; awareness training, design , implementation and management of compliance tools.%%0A * Provide facilitation of internal assessment processes.%%0A * Serves as focal point for government audits/inquiries/inspections and works in collaboration with inside and outside legal counsel.%%0A * Responsible for representing PBIMS interests in legislative and regulatory rulemaking and represents the company communications with government agencies and international trade industry associations.%%0A * Develop and implement strategies, procedures and internal controls to support global compliance and supply chain security.%%0A * Communicate trade compliance policies to relevant company personnel and provide training.%%0A * Keep abreast of global regulations and ensure regulations are communicated and implemented throughout the company.%%0A * Manage internal facility compliance audits and review of standard security procedures.%%0A * Advise on proposed and existing company decisions related to international business compliance implications.%%0A * Advocate for the company's interests before government agencies with jurisdiction over international trade and indirect air carrier certification.%%0A * Evaluate current processes, identify risks, develop solutions and implement improvements related to TSA standard security program regulations and requirements.%%0A * Work in collaboration with governmental regulatory agencies to develop and further refine cargo screening programs, methodologies and regulations.%%0A * Continuous process improvement in all aspects of the organization.%%0A%%0A %%0A Key Success Factors:%%0A%%0A * Proven dynamic operational experience and success achieving goals. %%0A * Strong sense of urgency with regard to achievement of world-class compliance status.%%0A * Ability to make decisive, sound and logical decisions that prove correct and effective.%%0A * Strong planning and organizational skills to achieve optimal results and critical timelines.%%0A * Strong management characteristics such as team building approach, segmenting the operations for accountability, ability to establish clear goals and objectives, development and enthusiasm.%%0A * Ability to create a positive professional environment through innovation, excellent performance and exceptional efforts to satisfy both internal and external regulatory requirements%%0A * Reflect the highest ethics, integrity and standards for excellence.%%0A%%0A %%0A Key Objectives:%%0A%%0A * Manage TSA programs including STA, Authorized Agent and Known Shipper.%%0A * Conduct mandatory TSA security training sessions in plants and maintain records.%%0A * Develop and conduct TSA compliance audits in all locations where cargo is consolidated.%%0A * Conduct Dangerous Goods Training.%%0A * Conduct security and security related investigations.%%0A%%0A * B.S. in International Business, Business Administration, International Affairs, Logistics or Engineering preferred.%%0A * Completion of Export Licensing Courses helpful ; Customs Brokering, Dangerous Goods, Hazmat, Indirect Air Carrier Security Training, 49 CFR/IATA certification and Security Threat Assessment completion.%%0A * 6-8 years experience in international trade, loss prevention, or Transportation Security Administration%%0A * Strong Microsoft Office essential, Microsoft Access skills helpful.%%0A * Ability to think strategically and critically.%%0A * Excellent presentation and training skills.%%0A%%0A %%0A Other Skills:%%0A%%0A * Spanish language desirable.%%0A * Teaching and training experience desirable.%%0A * Experience participating in audits/inspections.%%0A * Involved with XLA and ACS a plus.%%0A * Up to 30%% travel.%%0A
