As a CAD Drafter on the Design Engineering Team, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to support all Engineering functions with management and flow of engineering data and information. Engineering data managed includes electronic design data for drawings, Release Notices/Change Notices (RN/CNs), tool records consisting of other computer program files. Generate accurate footprint library symbols for components under close supervision and assist senior drafters and designers. Also, revise drawings from detailed instructions. Create, organize and maintain database records. Experience Requirements: High school graduate with additional relevant vocational school or ECAD training and/or Associate Degree in Engineering Technology. Two or more years experience encompassing several of the skills detailed under Work Performed. PDMS experience required. Basic working knowledge and understanding of drafting principles. Familiarity with ASME-Y14.100-200 drawing practices and other associated industry practices and standards. Basic knowledge of Cadence printed circuit board (pcb) design tools (preferred) or equivalent ECAD tool and/or Autocad. Ability to manage multiple small assignments simultaneously under frequently changing priorities. Knowledge of presentation, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
