.i sought enlightenment for 20 years
.i had many awakenings
.layers of illusion fell away
.along the way, it became apparent to me that my
continuing quest for enlightenment was a
self-indulgent vanity
.there was plenty of work/play to be done that
didn't require me to be any more enlightened
than i already was

.so enlightenment is no longer my prime objective
.i expect the process will continue
.i will happily receive any grace that comes my way

.in the meantime i have work to do debugging english

I thought this was quite thought-provoking and yet
not a single response...

Why do you think that is?

Time to pay off all that karma, that's what you're talking about.

.that's one way to think about words/language
.language is also about constructing the
"meaning" of experience
.most of what most people call "reality" is
actually the story they have constructed
out of language

Must experience have "meaning"? How does "debugging"
English -- oh, I mean english -- help?

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I --
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
