I am forwarding you something from an online group >>
Usually we are all corded via lines of energy as energy is the
underlined structure of all universe. Hwever, some people abuse this
energy for their own purposes usaully to acquire things or respect or
else from you. If you are into any energy practice you need to be
aware of some signs either on a very visible or less visible form.
In average situations, you hear a kind of buzz like a wind in your
ears, mostly the right ear, and some tingling on the temples that
moves to the top of your head. If you are sensitive enough you may
have sensations in the legs and the whole body coming gradually. Some
times your heart beats faster without any particular reason. Sleeping
disorders is the first sign in most cases. In extreme situations
cording feels like having octopuses attached to the temples of your
head and extreme pain in the temples. Also feeling of dying, heart
failure, severe depression. REMEMBER: it is not you! someone else is
manipulating your energy, there is nothing wrong with you!! However,
such phycho-somatic symptoms can create 'real' diseases if you don't
know how to handle them.

Dear friends:
15 years ago, I first published the following essay on the meaning of
Christmas. Though a decade and a half have passed, and much has
happened and changed in our lives, the eternal message of Jesus’ birth
endures. I hope you enjoy reading this again (or perhaps for the
first time) and have a very, very holly jolly Christmas, and a blessed
New Year.
All my love and blessings of the Eternal LightSong of Spirit,
Michael Turner

Excerpt from “Pillars of Spiritual Progress: The Maha Mantra” by
James Chagula ~ An Interview With Sant Harjit Singh.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Faqir_Chand_Legacy/message/39 ~
http://www.babafaqirchand.com
~ Pranayama (Breathing Practices) In Relation To Surat Shabad Yoga ~
JC: First of all, will you explain the meaning of the Maha Mantra?
HS: Maha means Great and then the mantra, there is no translation for
mantra. The nearest translation could be a vibration.
JC: I remember you mentioning that it's also known as the 'manifested
mantra'
HS: It's called the tarik mantra. Tarik is a word which means a
vehicle that helps you swim (across) the ocean of life; the world or
samsara. In the Shaivite tradition "Om Namo Shiva" (salutations to
Lord Shiva) is the tarik mantra. So in the Sikh Sant Tradition, Wahe-
guru is the tarik mantra for Kali Yuga. It doesn't produce tamas
(inertia, delusions); it's a peace giving, illumination giving mantra.
JC: Maharaj, the mantra is the vehicle to Liberation. So do mantras
affect the mind only? Does one discard the mantra after crossing the
ocean...?

The truth comes out!
Apparently Brahmananda Saraswati's cook was the
Swami Prakashananda Saraswati! He was arrested
on indictments alleging twenty counts of indecency
with a child/sexual contact.
"When he was in Fairfield close to 20 years ago he
was claiming that our Guru Dev was his master. He
said that he was Guru Dev's cook, that he knew
Maharishi and would imply that Maharishi was of lowly status in the
ashram because he was only a
clerk. People felt more comfortable following him
because of this claim." - Dr. Peter Sutphen

Hinduism, the Greatest Religion in the World (Part 1)
In the wake of the Pope's visit to India,
Hindu's have many reasons to unite in proud
defense of their faith
By Satguru Sivaya Subramuniyaswami

February 2000
Recently, as you will read in this issue, the Pope visited
India. It is worth noting that his parting message to his
missionaries in Asia was to pour more energy into
converting the "lost souls" of India. He called on his
people to impose their religion on the people of India to
bring them to Jesus. But India has Hinduism, its native
religion, which is as sophisticated, mystical, practical
and dynamic as any in the world.
