Guys, I'm pulling out whats left of my rapidly thinning hair here, and I'm
hoping I can get a suggestion or two as to what might be wrong with a
neighbours computer (win xp).

The problem started a few months ago when he noticed his mouse pointer
moving slowly by itself.
The problem got steadily worse until by the time he asked me to look at it a
few weeks ago, it was going wildly out of control and had become completely
unuseable.
Now, when it's started, the mouse pointer takes on a life of its own,
flitting rapidly about the screen, with applications openning left right and

So, I've tried loads of solutions....Running antivirus, stripping off
everything but the bare essentials, removing all hardware and reapplying

morning, I completely erased the hard drive and reinstalled everything from
scratch.

My ISP has the page below on his web site in connection with SSH Access. What is
SSH Access, why is it needed, and why is it apparently so easily abused?
