  traffic without sales

Hello,

I have a website: www.fasisi-antique-webstore.com. I try to sell
clocks and furnitures.

I have been monitoring for the past 3 months and I can see growing
traffic from month to month. But there are no sales.

I think there is something wrong with the way I communicate.

How should I improve?

Sincerely,

Babi Gendut

  "Trust Marks" are they significant?

Never considered "trust marks" as being significant with regards to how
potential customers take a web site, but having had the matter bought to my
attention today I am fishing around for other peoples views on them.

Personally as long as I can check out a business with a business address, phone
number etc then I am happy.

Trustmark companies claim figures like "77%% of shoppers will dump their cart if
there is no trustmark"

Any ideas on such matters, are they a valid marketing tool?

Cheers
Pete

  site wouldn't show in searches

Almost a month ago I posted here asking for ideas as to why a new site
wasn't getting indexed by the search engines.

Well earlier this week I caught Google in the log, and I saw that the bot
had come to the site looking for robots.txt, didn't find it (500), and
pissed off. Apparently now Google REQUIRES robots.txt. (?) Who knew.

I placed a robots.txt in the site and now it's getting spidered normally.

Visitor counter display - Where can I find a free one?

Author: epyon789

Hey,

I'm not new to making websites, but I never took it past High School
experience. I recently started a blog about competitive online games
http://ironend.blogspot.com/ and was wondering where I could find one
of these. Any ideas on how to implement one, as well?

Thanks in advance.
