But, you have provided no details about what is required only what
could apply to millions of websites. I personally tend to be leary of that.

  Islamic Manners (1): Sidq (Truthfulness

Author: abdo911
Date: Dec 8, 2007 20:41

Allâh, Exalted is He says, "You who have faith! Have taqwâ of Allâh
and be with the truthful"; "...being true to Allâh would be better
for
them"; "... men and women who are truthful...Allâh has prepared for
them
forgiveness and an immense reward"; "Among the believers are those
who
have been true to the contract they made with Allâh. Some of them
have
fulfilled their pact by death and some are still waiting to do so,
not
having changed in any way at all. So that Allâh might recompense the
truthful for their sincerity..."
Truthfulness is the conformity of the outer with the inner, speech
with deed, and narrative with reality. [1]
Therefore truthfulness occurs in intention, speech and deed and not
just speech as many people may think. As such a person who informs of
something that is not in conformity to reality is not truthful, a
person who does a good deed intending to show off is not being
truthful, a hypocrite who shows faith but conceals disbelief is not ...

I would not suggest doing that. You won't know what you are getting
and it will cost you twice as much.
Two web designers I would suggest include:
http://www.paulwattdesigns.com/ and http://locusoptimus.com/
HTH.
Oh and for hosting I would go with: http://www.servergrade.com

I agree with what Jerry said in this matter you need to define more of
what you want.

A website can make from next to nothing to millions. There is no standard
there either :-).

How do I create a subdomain from the CLI

Author: walterbyrd
Date: Dec 8, 2007 19:24

I have a VPS. I want to create a subdomain on the same server, i.e.

mydomain.com
sub.mydomain.com

These will have the same IP address, so I guess I have to do some sort
of redirecting thing.

I tried creating a subdirectory in of the root, but I how do I explain
that to the dns? Where am I redirecting sub.mydomain to? If I direct
sub.mydomain.com to mydomain.com/sub, then then won't the system look
for sub in /var/www/sub on my debian system?

I tried putting sub in /var/www, but when went to sub.mydomain.com,
the url read: mydomain.com/sub.

I am using lighttpd as my webhost, and I using freedns.afraid.org for
my name server.

Also, how would I add another domain?

If you know of a good tutorial, or something, maybe you could point me
towards that.
