The Vietnam Campaign Medal represents service in Vietnam during the 1960’s (and
extended into the 1970’s). However, there were thirty Combat Campaigns fought
during the 1960’s and ‘70’s. Combat Campaigns were administered by the Army,
Navy (Marine included), and Air Force.Vietnam War Combat Campaign Service
(combat credit) is authorized to all in-country military servicepersonnel of all
branches and nations. The officially designated thirty Vietnam War combat
campaigns are as follows...

Free Certificate, Lapel Pin and SecDef Letter of Appreciation

Anyone (military or civilian) can recognize an honorably discharged US Army
Veteran or an Army Supporter. There is no cost to participate. Freedom Team
Salute is fully funded by the U.S. Army.

Recipients of a Freedom Team Salute Commendation package will receive: 1) An
official U.S. Army lapel pin, 2) An official Army decal, 3) A Certificate of
Appreciation signed by both the Chief of Staff and the Secretary of the Army,
and 4) A Letter of Thanks signed by both the Chief of Staff and the Secretary of
the Army. Commendation packages arrive in 3 to 4 weeks.
