Two LTTE rival factions clash in Oslo; One dead and two injured

By: Suresh Balraj- Oslo

In a violent clash erupted between two rival LTTE factions in Oslo, on
Sunday( August 12) evening, a Tamil expatriate was killed while two
others sustained serious injuries foreign news agencies reported.

According to news reports, two factions of the rival LTTE figures Soosai
and Pottu Amman had clashed with each other fiercely at a supermarket in
Kallbakken in Oslo. The two pro-LTTE gangs were armed with guns and
swords and commuters were much terrified on the street mob which
hindered the normally peaceful neighbourhood in Kallbakken.

The reports further added that an injured LTTE supporter had sustained a
pistol shot injury and a deep cut by a large samurai sword. The injured
were receiving treatment at the Ulleral University hospital. The Oslo
police estimate that at least ten Tamil gangsters were involved in the
crime.

The dead was identified as Rajan alias 'Selika', while the injured were
namely Kannan and Kuhan, all said to be former LTTE combatants.

Recently pro-LTTE factions have taken their clashes into the streets
under the asylum given by the Norweigian government. The Tamil
communities in Oslo and suburbs have become the elite voters in
Norwegian elections, presenting a majority over the 'Nomadic'
descendents, reports said.

Questions has aroused why the Norwegian government officials had taken a
silent note on to the street fights and planned mobs by factions of the
LTTE now a frequent occurrence in Tamil populated areas. It was also
revealed lately in a report based on substantial evidence produced by
the Norwegian anti terror activist, Faulk Rovik that Norway has become
the hub of an European Tamil under world which is also believed to be
linked to the most ruthless terror organisations such as Al Qaeda and Jihad.

Surprisingly, in the 'Global Peace Index', rankings issued on 30th May,
Norway has been placed 01st despite giving asylum for terrorist
supporters of an internationally banned terror outfit. Oslo itself has
become a popular breeding ground for pro-LTTE gangs who take on reprisal
attacks on other Tamil expatriates who oppose funding or ideologies of
the LTTE.

On 06th July, 2006, a Norwegian lady journalist Nina Jhonsurd who works
for a popular Norwegian news paper named "Dagsavisen", escaped death
when LTTE operatives in Oslo opened a burst of gunfire at her private
resident in Oslo. Nina was the Journalist who exposed the corruption of
the LTTE leader, Yogaraja Balasingham, rigging the Oslo municipal elections.

The latest news related to the Oslo clashes is that one of the involved
is a LTTE professional murderer wanted for murder in another European
country. Some of the involved has recently been transported into Norway
from France.

The LTTE and the labor party had a joint press conference in attempt to
defuse the situation. Jan Bohler, a leader in the Labor party and
Norwegian LTTE leader Yogarajah Balasingham participated in the press
conference that was carried by the Norwegian national TV2 television.
The Norwegian LTTE leader tried to defuse the incident and gang related
as a family dispute. The LTTE leader and Mr. Jan Bohler from the Labor
party portrayed it was a minor problem and nothing for Norwegians to
worry about.

The Norwegian police verify that several of the dozen people where
Tamils with no legal residence in Norway. They had come to Norway to
"fix some problems".

For Norway and the international police this is a wakeup call. Here we
did see a team of LTTE sympathizers moving between countries armed with
pistols and swords. It is sixteen years ago since the first Norwegian
intelligence report revealed the LTTE had arms depots in Europe.

In Britain we know about ten LTTE gang related murders. The LTTE terror
seems to be a hot export article. The victims of the terrorism export
are usually the Tamil Diaspora and those who work against the LTTE.
European police forces and human rights organisations have known about
the LTTE crime problems but nothing has been done.
