Common Myths About the Honorable Discharge Lapel Pin

Because the Honorable Discharge lapel pin was inaugurated during WW2 some
believe it is no longer applicable or authorized. Wrong.

Some also believe the origin of the pin's infamous nickname, "The Ruptured
Duck", was forever lost in time. Also wrong.

An information website has been established to respond to The Ruptured Duck's
continued eligibility and name origin. For more info travel to URL:
http://members.aol.com/veterans/theduck.htm

This website will be updated as new (or old) myths require dispelling.
