2 Tamil civilians arrested in Hatton

Police arrested two Tamil civilians who were travelling by van
Thursday night in Hatton, Nuwara Eliya district, sources in Hill
country said. The arrested are being detained at Hatton Police
station.

Police said the Terrorist Intelligence Division questioned them as
they failed to provide valid reason for their visit to Hatton.

Both suspects are from Killinochchi, police sources said.
