Some of the steps in obtaining a marriage related visa have specific
requirements for the Philippines. I invite anyone who is, or will be,
applying for a visa from the Philippines to join us in our forum.

Thanks,

Now that I've submitted by I-751 and await the next step, I find myself
wondering what else I could submit if I am asked for further evidence
and/or an interview. And it crossed my mind that my husband and I have
quite a large collection of "home movies" and photographs, etc.
Certainly not the type Joe Q Greencard-seeker would have with Suzy
Fraudster!
Are these passable as a form of legit evidence?

Hi all
Well, after a good but busy 2 years it's time to deal with the USCIS
again. Mailed I-751 on Oct 19 to VSC. And sure enough we have problems
again. They put my Son's A# on my Wife's application. So my Wife
didn't get a Bio appointment. We went at kids appointment and they did
the Bio for her. Then went to Baltimore to get an extension stamp for
her in the passport.
Let's see what else happens

Ok, what happened was that my file (for my wife) was under
investigate... and no idea why they held for almost two years for the
2nd interview, which took place on 1/9... after almost two hours for
the interview, questions, with my lawyer been present, it finally got
approved!!!
Now we are waiting for the 10 year perm. green card to mail to us...
question, the immigration officer could be like delay to turn the file
in, and so it may delay for us to receive the green card in the mail,
right? I seen postings here that people receive their welcome letter /
green card in the mail fairly fast... it's almost two weeks, still
nothing.

Hi SG,
They might be asked to show proof of ongoing relationship at the the
K1 interview itself, though. At Sadegh's interview in Turkey, I was
asked for the most recent 6 months of original phone bills.
Fortunately, I had them.
To the OP, all you can do is provide what you have. In this day and
age, it's not unusual for people not to have telephone records. If you
have any other proof of correspondence, such as real mail, email, cards,
letters, etc, you can bring those to the interview. Or as someone
mentioned, just describe your phone arrangements.
You don't need to show proof of ongoing relationship with the I-129F
petition. Only at the K1 interview.
Best Wishes,
Rene

Can an admin please check the Usenet gateway? Looks like postings that
originate on Usenet are not coming through to the BE forum. I posted
one yesterday via Usenet and I don't see it on BE. I also looked at a
couple of other Usenet posts from the past couple of days with my
newsreader and I don't see them on BE.
Thanks.

Prior to the ceremony, you'll be asked to complete the back of the form
you received in the mail, and you'll be asked to surrender your green
card. From start to finish, the whole thing will take an hour or so...
maybe two depending on how many people are being naturalized and how long-
winded the judge is. At some point, you'll be asked to recite the oath
of allegiance... and you'll get your certificate at the end of the
ceremony. This is the end of the process... go and enjoy yourself.
